picture uploading on forum

What do people use?? I have used photobucket for ages but I find the quality of the pic looks poo, even when i'm using an SLR.

some of the pics I have seen look fab quality how do you get them to upload like that??

The hosting site has sweet fa to do with the picture quality.. All they do is store is lots of 1's and 0's.

And from there you copy and paste the img code onto here, the other day it wouldn't work for me? just came up with a box with a red cross in it.

I use photobucket and just as long as you resize them before you upload they are fine. Don't let photobucket resize them for you.

Can you put them straight from your computer onto the site without going through p/bucket ect? I'm not very good at these things

You need photobucket (or the like) to host them Tony, you can't put them on direct from your pc.
