Pictures of 300mm steering wheels...

Looks very similar to the OMP one though, yes? :)

I'll order it tmrw and post up some shots of it looking epic :D
From experience the sparco is quite a bit more expensive than the OMP, due to it being suede I think but it is a very nice wheel and one I will probably opt for next time, the OMP is awesome though I just have a thing for suede :D

no one fancy buying a Momo Team 280mm lol its the best looking wheel by FAR

one advice to the OP ; if you decide to get one , get a deep-dished one ! Far better than the flat ones ! meaning the seating position get a lot better

They're not massively expensive and IMO really change how the car feels to drive, mine feels much more "chuckable" if you know what I mean?

I'm going to phone up 'tweeks at 9 and get my CS discount on it :D

The sparco one I was looking at is 30mm deep, not sure how deep you would recomend?

Just a thought.... would flocking not be an option???

Quick question, because I've never really understood this ...

For those who buy these smaller steering wheels, do you not worry that you now have no front air bag?

It's not great but just try not to crash I suppose lol

I didn't worry in my my first car, and I'm sure all the euro/scene kids don't worry in their 20/30/40 year old cars.

It's not ideal, but meh, I didn't buy a 2.0l tin can so I could feel like I was in a hub of safety.

lads im very interested in gettin a new steering wheel can someone point me in right direction.

Standard is about 600mm mate haha
Big difference you woulf not be disapointed in it

90 mm deepdish. Sorry not a great pic. This way you can move the seat back for good throttleposition and the wheel is still nice and close to you. A lot of you are about the looks of a wheel, it should just bring good driveability !

quick question:

will the airbag light be on with new wheel? or would you pull the fuse?
oh actually and another one: for the guye without a horn-button, how do you operate it?

thanks,
rgds robert

You put a resistor in the airbag connection which stops the light from coming on, as for the horn you either get a wheel with a horn button or buy a indicator stalk from a ph1 which has a horn on it, they're just plug and play.
