Not true, you are correct with the full leather and the different wheels, also the color scarab green. But a fair few ph 1 172's have cd changers including mine.

172mk1 Exclusive

In feb 2001 a limited edition was released the main differences are outlined below from the normal run of cars, 172 were brought to the UK:

* Scarab green pearlescent paint
* Unique renaultsport door sill plates with serial number, they are numbered 1-172
* BBS 15” alloy wheels
* Dune grey full leather trim.
* Silver 2.0 16v badge on sides
* Extra £300 premium over the standard 172.

I like it mate, i thought the exclusives got the cd headunit over the tape deck? As all the ph1s got the multichanger & most of the ph2s then it was an option

I do like the exclusives. I'm not overly keen on the yellow foglights on that one & the french plates though.

I will eventually get some wheels but for now I'm keeping these and putting coilovers on. I was going to go for some BBS CH wheels in 17" but can't find them for my car, after looking into it it seems they only come in 5 stud.

I might look at doing mine a light blue colour rather than the yellow, think it could look cool!

Not for long, bits are going away to be powder coated as soon as the strut braces arrive then the bushes, brake lines and coilovers can go on lol.

They do different colours. I couldn't find anywhere that sold yellow fog lights so I just bought brand new clear ones from euro car parts for £22 each then done them myself.

IIRC... Drivers side in my ph1 172... My 182 and v6 both passenger side.. Dont know about the ph2 172..
