Pioneer Aftermarket HU & Steering Controls

So im thinking about upgrading to a Pioneer DEH-4600BT HU and have noticed i can use it with my steering wheel controls and display

Im guessing to do so i'd need the below? but do i also need the other part of the wiring harness? if so which one?

i have a feeling i already have the last link with my current Sony HU but not overly sure :S

If you have a sony with controls working then pioneer will be straight swap- same patch leads

I don't have the steering controls working at the mo, just the HU, so I'm guessing I'll just need the patch lead?

If you don't have controls you will need stalk adapter and patch lead. Adapter will depend if your factory radio was tuner list or update list, best person to give a shout is Matt (MTAudio), very competitive price, alternatively I'd go to dynamicsounds - excellent service (but I'd prefer to help traders on forum first )

That lead wont do your dash-top display.

You'll need one of these, depending on vehicle

They're probably not cheap either. The Alpine lead I had to get to run the dashtop display was £70

You mean with one of this leads will work the dash top display and the steering wheel controls too?
Because im looking for a solution making them both work after changing to an aftermarket HU.
