Pioneer headunit without 'remover pins' help!

I have a pioneer headunit which came with the car. Have recently purchased a new climate control panel and I have heard removing the radio makes them easier to replace? Problem is I dont have the pins and I dont know whay model headunit it is! Any universal pins you can buy to take the headunitd out or anyone know how to get them out? Cheers

I'm not aware of any universal pins. Most work by sliding the key/pins in which pushes out the latches that lock the head unit in place. It's possible to release with a long piece of thin metal or plastic but really depends on what system you have.
