can always get a replacement element, doesnt effect insurance and will do a similar job.
Just got one for my RT, definitely made a difference. 0-60s have come down from around 11.5 to 11.1. This isnt just a one-off as i do this sort of thing 3 or 4 times a week so know for sure when a mod makes a difference.
BTW, i used a pipercross replacement element, cos £40
im gonna chuck my k&n in the bin. its crap. sounds ok , but ive got nick at hill power on the case maeking me a custom one for chloe!! no cable ties for me!!! only the best for my little baby.
