Pipercross fitting advice required!!!

Ive just picked up a pipercross air filter element for my car and need some help!!!

They gave me a can of stuff which tells me to refer to the packaging with regard to its application but I cant see any reference to it?!?! Do I just spray it all over the filter element before fitting???

Is there anything else I should know (bearing in mind the most Ive ever done beneath the bonnet before is look!!)

yeah spray the filter with it its dirt retention oil

thats it (well ya hve to fit it)

let the oil dry as well before putting it in the car and going for a burn.

And you spray the BLACK side of the filter!
