just purchased one of these for my 172, whats the best way of getting the cold air to the filter?

i also want to stick the round cold air feed attachment to the front of my vehicle whats the best way of getting this to stick to the front mesh? do i cut it then stick? propper novice when it comes to this stuff lol...

erm, best way is to go down behind the passenger headlight then either out the fog light, or across and out the front grille

you need to remove the stupid tube thing (does bugger all)

youll need to take off front passenger side wheel and pop off the front arch liner (bumper side) all will become clear once you do this

fred, whats the stupid tube thing? how do i get the front grill off, is this quite an awkward thing to do?

and whats the best way to get the circular attachment to fit on?

Stupid tub e thing I presume Fred is talking about the original cold feed to the air box, the 2 pipes go down to a holder just above the horn, its bolted on with the horn to the chassis. Just lossen byt either holding back the pipes and getting a ratchet down there or as Fred said wheel off, lining off, much easier.

eves, ill gladly do it for you if you can get to birmingham!!

best off taking the front bumper off, (4 x 10mm bolts, 4 or 5 torx screws and a few clips)

itll give you more room to see what youre doing
