Pirelli P Zero Asimmetrico

Slightly different tyres but we fitted 4x Pirelli P Zero Neros about 2 months ago after the standard Contis got shagged on our 172 and the difference is little short of amazing - huge improvement in steering feedback and little to no tramlining anymore.

Wet motorway junction roundabouts are now a source of constant sideways amusement. Road noise is also much quieter on the motorways.

Std Contis lasted around 25k miles having had fronts swapped to rear after 12k miles...and Im hoping these P Zeros wear equally well.

I realise that new tyres have more grip etc than shagged ones but still the transformation is well worth it. Even when they were new, never felt totally confident pushing harder on the Contis. Have leant pretty hard on the Pirellis and have great confidence in their levels of grip in both wet and dry.

Paid around 260 quid inc VAT fitted with valves + balancing from our local F1 Autocentre in Maidstone. KwikFit and ATS wanted in the region of 400 fitted.

The Asimetricos get pretty good reviews too:

Fitted as Std to my uncles X-type Jag..........he replaced the fronts with Toyo Proxes, and swears the Pirellis are miles better. They have a huge chunk of rubber on the outside edge..........for nice grip........and last quite well too! Shame they dont do them in my size! Rob
