Seen this guy before on a Ford Forum. I thought he had an RS200, too? Odd that it's not pictured.
Think he sold it Luke and is looking for another low mileage example. Probably sold to invest in other pieces.
I love the rs1600i. Really stunning machine. Think he might have a Escos Monte Carlo.
Which of those cars did the climate control come from?
If I'd won that £160m I still wouldn't have any of those cars. The No1's or any other of them.
Do not see the appeal at all.
If I wasn't a Ford fan I wouldn't have them either although even if it was the Volkswagen equivilant i'd still appreciate them for the motoring history. If I'd won that £160m I still wouldn't have any of those cars. The No1's or any other of them.

I see what you're saying obviously 100k is ridiculous but are you seriously saying you wouldn't have one full stop?

My favourite car in there for some reason, is the black S2 RS Turbo
Revels I could understand if he bought one on a whim or similar but the fact is there are more people than him paying that kind of money for similar examples. 40 year old Escorts commanding 30/40/50k. It's common.
Sometimes it's not the car that you buy. It's the history, the pedigree and the sensation of driving and owning something rare and special. Myself is a great example of my point. They are hundreds of cars better than my FRP out there for the same money. The Trophy for eg, but it's not always about how good the car is.
Ferrari owners are probably jealous that this guy has the only S1 RST in the world. Maybe it's becuase i'm a Ford fan I understand.
Harry Metcalfe has a Lamborghini Countach, he'll openly admit it's a nightmare to drive and probably the hardest car to drive. Sometimes it doesn't matter.
