Plasitc Bump Strips

Just a quick question, can some one tell me it the bumps strips (off the side of the car) will fit from a 16V to an RT phase 1. Are they the same length and fitting??

Ive tried to find this our before but with no success. I would assume they fit the same though because all models use the same doors.

Someone said early this week that the 16v has a shorter wheelbase, which affected skirts and so on... dunno if it affects the bodypanels though!

Clio_novice, if you have no luck, you can always measure a 16v at the next midlands meet!

If you mean that you want to put the thinner ones on instead of the fat ugly things the you can, the fixings are just a little different but they do go on. Ive done it myself

We tried to put Phase2 bump strips (from a normal 3-door) on my mates Phase1 16v a while ago. They wouldnt fit

The 16v doesnt have a shorter wheelbase, but the rear arches are flared and the bump strips are about an inch shorter. So any 16v rear arch bump strips are only going to fit a 16v.
