Plastic Cup !

I noticed last weekend, when washing the car it has plastic front wings. Is this just the Cup or 172s and other Clios as well ?

its all clios, and it means that in a certain light your wings will appear a slightly different colour to the rest of the car...

Yeah its with all clios, I assumed its coz the wings are the most likely to get bashed so it makes them cheaper to replace...??

the scenics have pastic wings too, think the meganes aswell. I thought I had dented my car the first time I lent against them and they moved!

Its a weight thing and a Girly thing.... Girls are more likely to bash their wings and with flexi wings they will spring back in place... and not move in their panties...... Me mates call my clio a plastic PIG

Yes they are plastic, thankgod as my whole left front is being replaced.

Well I was about to say mine werent plastic but just went and checked and they are!! 2 years and I have never noticed!

ye its a good idea because the arches will do absolutly squat in an accident as the are not a load bearing structure, and where never part of the crumple zone so why not switch them to plastic.. bumps will bounce back out and you are safe in the knowledge that you will never ever get rusty front arches.. result.
