plastic trim

hi need some help restoring plastic trim mines looking faded think its had wax on in it in past can anything fix it??

someone said wash it down with soapy water , dry , then use armour all, any good??

someone else said , wash then boot polish, which kind?? dab on or oil in can??

any help appreciated

Clean well with Meguiars APC or Einszett Plastic Cleaner, agitating with a brush if need be - old tooth brushes work a treat.

Dress with Autoglym Bumper Care Gel, apply by rubbing it in well and buff with a clean towel.

To revive very faded trim heat up gently with a heat gun.

If it has wax or polish on, you could use a magic eraser (JML Direct) to remove it Very good product and worth having
Cant go wrong with Rich's answer though

a normal pencil eraser is good for getting rid of polish marks and very cheap. Seriously, try it!
