Play on passanger side wheel [Video]

I noticed today when I took my wheels off that I seem to have some play on the passenger side, when I rock the disc.
I tried doing the same thing on the driver side and there was hardly any movement at all.
I'm not clued up on what does what in terms of steering/suspension, would anyone be able to tell from the video (on the off chance!)

I can see movement in the ball joint that I (shakily!) zoom in on? Would that be it?

Could be Ball joint or track rod end. You must know a friendly mot garage who'll hava quick look.

Well there was definite movement in the track rod end (The one I zoomed in on, I think thats the track rod end?)
It was like moving about in its socket?

Which part is the ball joint?
Edit: Ball join is the thing at the bottom of the hub with two bolts on it?

Clunking at low speed is usually ball joint. By the movement in the video it looks like the wheel bearing.

I think...

9 and 3 wobble is track rod/track rod end related and 12 and 6 wobble is ball joint related.

Think being the optimum word in that sentence.

He is moving it too easy to be ball joint IMO. I'm going to say 80% bearing.

Mine was similar, replaced both TRE's and ball joints and it's all good now.

Might be worth doing the bearings too like said though.

Ha yea Sam, I just read that on an old post, you seem to be right.
Oh really Scrooge :( . If it was the bearing it would do it at any points on the clock I guess.
Not getting any weird noises when driving that I'm aware of. Just weird clunks when braking at low speed..

Yep it'd do it wherever you hold it. It'll be easy to diagnose as no other points will move part from the hub.

Both might be gone tbh.

Yea I see your point Boosh, but I've done a fair bit of work to my cars myself, and am always up for learning more, avoid garages if I can.
Guess this particular problem is just quite hard to diagnose as it could be a number of things..

I had a thread a while back, I had quite a lot of movement left to right, i changed the track rod and it solved the clicking noise i was having, that was a while ago i need to get my head back down in the arch and have a look, i have a resistance noise when moving off and i know where is still slight movement, Im also leaning towards changing both lower ball joints because there fairly cheap then seeing if either side needs a bearing change.

For the record if a bearing needs changing its not really a drive way job if you dont have the presses is it? unless you buy a hub complete with bearings (if that exists)

Well I've just been out to check, and there is no movement when I try and rock at 12 and 6. Only when I rock at 3 and 9..
If it was bearing or ball joint wouldn't it rock at both?
Can we conclude from that, that it is indeed track rod end?
