Playing DVD's through laptop - sound problem.

We have this problem at work that had only happend to the odd few of our laptops.

When playing a DVD through Power DVD, Media Player etc. the picture is perfect, but the sound jumps up and down all over the place and the voices are sqeaky!

We have elimintated a hardware fault by swapping the DVD drive with another working laptop. We have tried playing with the speed settings in MP but no joy!

Any help at all is appreciated! It's always the way, end of year the teachers want to show DVD's to the 'little darlings' - ahhh my laptop doesn't play DVD's!! :dead:

After reading through a couple of website's we have reinstalled the driver and seems to have solved the problem.
