playing ipod playlists

just had my ipod and uploaded all my music into diff playlists so i was wondering if you can play the playlist in the car cause i cant figure it out ...oh and i have an alpine head unit

if you have it plugged in with the control lead, the way mine works is by pressing the magnifying glass button, selecting what you want with the volume control and the play button select.

My Alpine allows me to search by Playlist, you just cycle through Artist, Album, Song etc in the search menu till you find Playlist.

my stereo wont search the ipod...so i just have to plug it in and let it play through the tracks

just been out and all works using the volume on the head unit!
