Playstation and Screen

Iv got a playstation 2 i want to put in my valver i can get hold of a cheap screen from a mate but i wondered how easy is it to wire up so that the sound comes out of my subs via my amp and not the built in speakers.

I understand all the power side of things just wanted to know how to connect the audio leads?

you need a fm modulator, it plugs into the back of the head unit, providing its got rca outputs i think, and then most come with a on/off switch, i think anyway, was thinking of doing a similar thing myself!! cheers

u wont need a fm modulator if ur head unit is like quiete new, as most companies have a little lead u plug in the cd changer port and it will allow the ps2 sounds to come through all the speakers.

Thats what I have. I got mine from America tho, cus they only do the expensive version here.

Pioneer.. The one they do here allows CD Changer AND Aux In.. My version just does Aux In.. I didnt need to spend another £50 for both!

Oh, and Aux In will sound much better than a FM Modulator I think.

Yep, I got the model below.. which is £25.. you cant get it in this country, so when I ordered a load of stuff from America, I ordered that one too..

Ive yet to try it yet tho!

My headunits one of the new kenwood 2 panel type ones (cant remember the model number)

It got the display at the back with the tilted buttons.

Do Kenwood do one of those things? Whats the BEST option?

Iv also got a 10 disc changer if it affects it.
