How would I go about powering a PS2 in the car?

you can hard wire an inverter, just chop off the adapter off and wire the +ve to the +ve on the battery, and vice versa for the -ve

I wouldve thought the inverter block bit would have a fuse in it?

& make sure you have a powerful enough inverter.... not sure what kinda wattage ur looking at tho?

no dont use a power inverter!!!! they cause interference. if you think about it your ps2 runs on about 7.5V if im not mistaken....so whats the point in using an inverter when your car runs a 12V system ??

heres what i mean, your car is a 12Vsystem, the inverter then takes the voltage up to 240V and then the ps2 brings it all the way back down to 7.5V. wots the point in that !?

12V to 240V to 7.5V = interterence

you can but a propper power supply that gives the ps2 7.5V for in-car use.

ill post the addy for it tomorow because i cannot remember it.
