please advise on clio

ok my girlfriend has a clio. just a 1.4 clio.

anyways. she has had a bad leak. cut the story short she took it to autoglass and they said it was sunroof but they dont fix sunroofs.

she took it to renault today (charged £75 for looking at it) and rang today to say its definatly your sun roof so whole sunroof needs doing.

c***s quoted £800. what the f**k.

also coz there has been lots of water got into passengers front footwell they said that would cost £200 to repair because it might damage electrics.

c***s.

please advise. does normal garages do sunroofs??????

Silicone it up mate. Or cover the fuckeer in vaseline for the time being

had exactly the same problem. take the sun roof out Silicone it up put runroof back in, dry out carpet, job done

as stated its my gf clio. i own a ford. how hard is it to get sunroof out on a clio.

Remove the glass by pressing in the red clip and tilting the glass towards the front of the car. Then remove the seal that seals the roof to the headlining. Then under the headlining there is around 15 10mm bolts that need to be undone. Remove two sunroof drain tubes at the front. Then lift the top frame free of the roof.
