I've heard about some cloth that you put around the computer for half an hour and its ok? or is this a myth? help would be much appreciated!

how old is it? if its under warranty you can send it bk & they will repair it.

Ive lost the box but my mrs has the reciept? is that ok? ive nearly had it two years but i think 360s have a 3 yr warantee?
