Please show me a pic of a 172 mk2 roof aerial base ..

The rubbber on my dads 172 (a normal one) has started to perish, so he went to get a new one.
Renault said £25 (for a base) & showed him it - but it's different, his has factory sat nav so he told the dude & they wanted £85 for the base (he only wants the rubber gasket)

His car also has the phone kit on it too, but we had is disoconnected in the car.

From memory, my dads base is different, his is pretty flat before if goes up where the aerial screws in.

Please can I see some pics, also if any one knows of any other aerials which share this base, or where he can get just the rubber from ??

I had that problem half a year ago. Needed to buy a need base too. The rubber is not delivered as a single part. The receiver GPS is fitted inside the base, so that why it is diffent to clio's without sat nav.

I am sorry to tell that via renault there is no other way then to buy a complete base.

So if anyone is looking for a SAT NAV base for a clio (without rubber seat) pm me
