plug socket help

Im going to srilanka and the maldives on monday next and i need an adapter for my camera and mobiles and the likes to be able to charge them all
Does anyone know what socket adapter i need for over there

Designed for 3 pins, round. But lots of appliances use just 2 pin plugs.

American style 2 flat pins, but they also have the Euro 2pin style in some Hotels.
If your in a Hotel, they normally provide loan adaptors, Enjoy !

When I was there 2 years ago, I never saw one of those Sy.

Well I just googled it, it came back with a tourist info site for sri lanka. It described the plug as 3 round pins, however most items (due to being imported) only have 2 round pins. My bad!!!!!

No, not at all (or atoll)

It may well have been just where I stayed, as they were very orientated towards the American tourist.

Typical of america then, we buy adapters when we go abroad. America makes a whole country change its socket style!!!!!!
