alright guys and gals,

i was tidying up some of my wiring after i had installed my amp when i came across this plug which i dont seem to remember seeing before and i cant work out what its for - hopefully one of you guys can shed some light on it for me?

Moved from Exterior to interior..





Dunno about the older models but the mk2 172 has a computer port plug thingy around that same area.

cheers for moving it KDF, wasnt sure which one to post it in.

It looks like it should plug into the iso connector but i havent got a clue what it does or if it was originally plugged in and ive unplugged without knowing?!?

look at the wire colours and position within the connector
consult your schematics in the back of haynes
use logic

its the remote control switch wiring from the rear of the rdio/cassette player, as pictured on the top right corner of 12.17 in your haynes manual
