Podcasts

I think i am a bit dim.....
I understand what Podcasts are, ie sound or video files of shows etc.
How the bloody hell do i download em to my creative MP3 player?
I can listen to some on the net through my PC via iTunes but cant save them.
An idiots guide anyone? what software do i need to download them?

at a gues download em to the ipple directory , find em convert to mp3 then send over like u would mp3s

from very limited experience of this, i have previously downloaded the podcast in .mp3 format and put them on my iPod as usual.
I have only ever done the moyles radio1 podcast, which is provided on the radio1 site in .mp3.
so don't need any software at all, just save it on your pc instead of playing it (by right clicking on the link & selecting 'Save as')
Then transfer it to your mp3 player as you would any song.

So i suppose it all depends on where you are getting the podcasts from in the first place. some places may only allow you to listen to them & not save them??
