Point and shoot

Looking to get a new point and shoot to replace my aged old Pentax and pretty settled on getting a Panasonic TZ8 as it looks to be a good all rounder with a huge zoom, alright wide angle etc.

Is there anything else at around the same price or less that would be worth looking at?

I was tempted by the smaller Sony DSC-WX1, the decreased zoom probably wouldn't be too much bother but the fact it's memory stick duo only puts me off.

Also where's a decent place online to pick cameras up?

I would go for a Panasonic, have a TZ-7 here and it's awesome.

Had a look at a few this afternoon, the TZ8 was nice but a bit chunkier than I expected. However the ZX3 looked perfect, so on the hunt for one of those I think.
