Polished header tanks?!

Who's got one? and is the 16v tank the same as the one on the 172?

could be cool to get a group buy goin on these Al - I have been thinkin of gettin one and with the amount of people polishing their fuel rail gurads etc I am sure quite a few people would be up for it - what do you reckon - do you know anyone that sells them?

Yes and no...Bailey for one, and another company on ebay, tho the welding on the tanks looks a bit gash.

I'd like a power steering reservoir too tho.

yeah that would be good but I suppose you could get away with a cover for that one due to the shape but because the header tank is round only option really is to get a forge or bailey one. There is a fella on here advertising some that he can make for sale at the mo - will find the link now

Well I emailed k-tec and they said you have to unscrew the cap and look yourself. I think k-tec are a bit pricey though compared to Bailey.

K-Tec dont sell bailey tanks though, they only sell their own.

Demon Tweeks do one for the 16v, it has a veiwing glass thing and made by spec r. Looks good but pricey at £160!!!
