Polished the scoob, went for a blast and got dirty.. [kinda pic heavy]

Car  Focus st3 & t5.1 day
So my subaru is still going strong.. Now winter is passing and the sun is making an appearance I'm appreciating the car that little bit more..

Windows down, stereo off and enjoying the burble of the boxer, accompanied with noise of sacrificed squirrels and the occasional pop and flame!

She's now on 111k (rebuilt at 104k) and I've just had her serviced and health checked for peace of mind, and she's running faultless! Power steering can be hesitant on cold start but I don't move til she's warred up abit anyway, so ill investigate that soon!

Anyways couple days ago, I gave her a quick hose over and 2 hour hand polish, not a detail just a couple peach skin cloths and some generic car polish I had laying about, she scrubs up well! I went for a 40 mile blast to a local beach (newgale) and smiled the whole way, got out for some pictures (iPhone quality as I forgot my bloody camera) and she was filthy again! Typical lol

Here's a handful of pics I took, apologise for the quality and the areas of dust on the car, left the cleaning gear behind so couldn't really whipe it off :/

I've got a pair of STI fog covers ordered as one of my fog surrounds fell off or got stolen, not sure which but I couldn't find it anyway.. Never liked them so not bothered! And I removed the fog lights as they looked out of place without covers / surrounds, ill also be ordering a new set of decent tyres ready for summer fun in the next couple of weeks!

And that's about it really..

Covered 6k miles in her since October and she makes me smile every drive, so easy to use and the power is there when you want it..

Play around too much and you can expect 12-15mpg
Drive sensible and she'll do around 30-32mpg
My 18 mile commute to work and back I average around 25mpg but there's a couple roundabouts and hills here and there

It's totally worth it!

Day off work tomorrow I'm gonna dust off my gopro and get some noise videos for those interested!

C&C welcome, don't expect everyone to like it but its my realistic dream car and I'm loving every moment of ownership!

- Dano.
