Well being a college student and holding down an almost full time job i have little time to spend polishing a full car in 1 go. 10 hours worth of polishing in bits has done me - full bonnet twice, 1 front quater twice, driver door, and 83 on the rear quater waiting for 80.
I was wondering .... how should i wash it when it comes to the next polishing session. i dont want to scratch it anymore. im jumping straight to a cutting pad with 83 and then onto 80 on a polishing pad, paintwork will then be polshed with srp on a finishing pad, and sealed with jeffs twice, and finally coated with a wax, which at the moment is looking like purple haze but i may slip up and get some sapphire or whatever the £70 one was.
Had a play on the bonnet tonight again, was polished with 80 yet again, polished with srp, 3 coats of jeffs triggger sealant (i love this stuff and i now see how it works) and a coat of supernatural which was applied by machine. I see why rich always goes on about initial preperation lol.
