can you polish the manifold and penlem on your own or do you have to get them sent off? how do you do it and if people have done it themselfs what did they use?

I had mine machine polished on a abrasive wheel

no prog pics mate but i did mine myself in the garage with different grades of sandpaper from 80 up to 2000wet and dry then some autosol and a dremel round the lettering, might be some other more detailed threads if you search for them

I want to do the same and also do the fuel rail..how long does it take if i was to take it to a metal polishers and have them do it...also is it an easy job to remove it from the engine??

ok i have started this and i was wondering how long it took people to do. i can see the results but it is taking a long time. has anyone got any hints on this. help is very welcome as my fingers are feeling the strain.
