Pop out window conversion.

How tricky would it be to convert fixed rear windows to pop out ones, the ones on hinges.

wanna do this to my car.
im thinking of going to a scrappy and getting the hinges then find a way to mount them and attach them to the pillars and windows.

in theory it seems easy enough, but im sure theres things that could be hard to do.

Surely would be too much hassle, why would you want the back windows to be able to open anyway??

ive never seen it done on a polo, and would be an awesome finishing touch to the car.
pop outs look cool too.

Any European Clios have this? Back when i had a Nova you could get the bit from a Spanish one, new glass/seals/hinges........ Not sure i saw any hinge mountings when i stripped the rear out the other week though.......

anyone can lower a car and put some wheels on.

alot of the little mods take alot more creativity and good craft to think of and pull off.

if you dont know how to do the conversion dont post please, because i dont want my thread to be locked.

Simples, I shall explain.

1) Get the brackets and the popper.
2) Drill three holes in the glass.
3) Attach hinges to Glass.
4) Attach glass with hinges to the car.

Your car will leak forever as the seals will be wrong and it'll probably look nasty from inside but atleast it's original!
