also forgot to add i never got the original rs tuner with the car , can i just have the ecu reflashed to get the standard map back on the car , do the rs tuner remaps actually give good bhp gains or not worth it !! not to worried about keeping the map as well

lol i have a pops and bangs map that k-tec put on my car and it NEVER pops or bangs unless i am making it, gives a nice little pop when changing gear in high revs when booting it.

And im not a chav

can renault just not reflash the ecu with the latest software , when vw had my scirocco in and flashed it with the latest version of software it wiped the remap

This must be a joke?! If you do that your just going to destroy the internals of the cat.

To get rid of the map your have to get another RS tuner, unlock it if needed and then load a map to your car to suit.

Also you could probably just go to renault and get them to reprogram the ecu and that should reset it back to standard map. I'm not 100% sure if you can do it this way though.

might be cheaper to just get a remap at a decent tuners.

Mine starts to crackle at 4K. Tbf, it does get a bit annoying at times. But I'll be getting the car mapped properly soon for bigger and better things

it does have to be revved over 4k mate , i do like to drive my car hard so it does it all the time , i have a local renault specialist that could re flash the newest software for me quite cheap so may do that as dont want to be spending £100 on a rstuner then £35 to get unlocked !!

Mine has the pops and bangs and still has the standard cat until I get a decat fitted and it doesn't make any pops and bangs and so what if it does blow the inside of the cat apart lol lol I'm sure the RSPCA won't come round .. am no I'm not joking know fooking not
