portable car wash unit

  E39 530i
I currently live in a flat, and have to use a portable hozelock to wash my car. I make about 4 or 5 trips to fill up with new water to rinse the car off. Can I get a bigger hozelock unit or what other portable unit could I use.

I would like to use a jet washer but due to living in a flat I can't :(

Please help.

I know someone who takes his washing gear to the jet wash at a petrol station and washes his car there. You'd have to do it when its not busy though so that you're not inconviencing others too much.

Is there no way you can run a hose through the window or something?

No more suggestions then mate. Only thing I can think of now is to buy a few watering cans and fill them all up and take them down with you.

When i lived at home, we never had a driveway or anything, so i used to bag up all my stuff in a sainsbury's smart box and take the lot to the local jetwash.

£2 to wash it all off then park up next to it out of the way and spend an hour there. Worked a treat.

Jimmy, surely theres loads of immigrants round by you offering to hand wash it for £5? Thats what i'd do, saves using your own energy. :)

Yeah there are lots of immigrants but I'm looking into valeting and they'll just use a sponge and f**k up my 225

Ah, i see.

The Imports round our way are quite good, they use the two bucket method and a lambswool mit! seriously!

Have you got a garage in a block? if you know what i mean?

Are those portable hozelock any good? How much water do they hold?

I'm in the same situationas you but use a 10L watering can. because I live on the ground floor its not far for me to go to fill it up.

I refil it 10 times each wash lol

I take my car whilst at uni to a local place but I give them a £5 to use my own stuff and do it myself. They must think I am mad as I think a basic wash is only £5, but they wash about 10 cars in the time it takes me to do mine!

do it at tesco during the night. iv done it before the night before a show in one of my old cars, washed and chammied, clayed and rewashed, then home into the garage and begin buffing sealing and waxing!!

Bin store ftw! Thats exactly what I used to do.
Stealing the management companies leccy too. Well, if they do put plugs that worked outside the front door/my door!
