Possible headgasket?

Hi guys and girls,

Just bought a 1.4 sport w reg mk2 Clio. Running it around for a few days unroll I noticed a big oil leak what looks to be coming from headgasket. However it still started and drove, didn't over heat on guage and still had heat from heaters. I went out 2 days ago and it wouldn't start and still wouldn't this morning. Could the headgasket cause this?
