possible misfire?

  182
Hi guys

Had the 182 for a few days now and have noticed that when idling at lights etc its jumpy.. only ever so slightly but enough to feel it.. feels like a slight misfire..

Never had a clio before, is this deemed normal or is something wrong

Any help appreciated

Yep, I would say so mate. They are all lumpy at idle, whether the engine is hot or cold.

Where are you based? It might be worth dropping by one of the specialists on here and ask them to have a look for peace of mind.

Yea I could. Ill upload a video of it and would appreciate anyone listening and see what they think.. idling when warm at just over 750 I think it is.. just below 1 k.. I dont remember my clio 1.4 doing this.. is it a sport thing

Renault recommend that you use 98ron, so you may well see some improvement by swapping fuel.

But yeah, get a video up and i'm sure a few people will give their thoughts on it.

Mine is currently doing this. It's less lump and more it bogs like it's a misfire. Off to pick up some plugs in the morning (NGK PFR6E- 10) and will post in here if it cures it. I'm almost certain it's an injector though so we shall see. Plugs needed changing anyway so might as well do them.

So heres the video.. not sure if you can hear it properly if im honest but can certainly feel it whilst stationary.. as said its only slight but annoying me, passengers can also feel it so it must be fairly obvious..

can also see the exhaust spluttering when it does it.. just annoys me as when i bought it the renault garage said its normal due to low idle or something but surely it juddering/jumping whatever you wanna call it cannot be right if you went out and bought a brandnew renault on the test drive this would put you off surely.. lol anyway what do you guys think.. The video makes it sound different than it actually does.. the dephaser was replaced apparently.. does it sound as though it hasn't to you?
