Possible miss-fire

I think my car has developed a possible miss-fire, what are the likely causes?

Iv been thinking about changing my spark plugs as i havent changed them since i bought the car about 1.5 years ago, would this help?

Could be sparkies/ HT leads or coil pack. Changing the plugs would be a start as I've had all 3 in the past.

Yeah i might atempt it at the weekend, its a right pain on the 172 engine too, most of the inlets etc has to come off!!

What's the mileage Steve?

I had a misfire becoming more and more apparent, changed the spark plugs last night and its cured it - was well overdue them admittedly; just never get to give my own car some tlc at the moment!

Iv just ticked over to 79k and iv never changed them since i had the car yet so wont do any harm to change them!!
