One son, two days after passing his test drives his Clio 1.2 Dynamique into a high kerb at 40 ish...luckily the only damage was his nerves, two burst tyres, two destroyed alloys and passenger seat airbag gone off...
Now, I figured a couple of hundred quid would put it right but Renault tell me new seat belts, tensioners, air bags, seats and wheels are about £1800 which was what he had saved up and paid for the car in the first place.
Is there an easier way??? Can you fix seats/seatbelts and airbags yourself or does it need to be done professionally and yes have trawled the scrap yards with no joy...
