Just search through the Audio specialists online or go down to Halfords or that,should'nt be to hard to find the Ipod connector for Sony!

And it does charge up the Ipod as its plugged in,just need to remember to unplug it before you leave it over night!!

Gad, best i've seen in a Clio yet....those Genesis amps are very smart indeed....i run a profile 5, with my single 10" MB Quart sub...and titanium MB Quart front comps....all controlled by an Alpine 9812RB...

Some Merc's do have Becker HU's (Becker are owned by HK I think) as do a lot of prestige brands. This is a retail not OEM though

My Clio has no system in it... (well ok a rev counter) although I'm wanting a comms system for the track...

Had to ditch the spare wheel so the amps would drop in the spare wheel well thats the only thing.

If tyre weld is good enough for the Cup boys then its good enough for us full phat 172 drivers ;-)

Here's the spec:

Alpine 9812 RB head unit.
Alpine Ipod adaptor box thing
Boston components and tweeters
Boston coaxials
Alpine 6x9's
JL Audio sub
JL 4 Channel amp
JL mono block amp

Doors and rea quarters fully sound proofed.

Does the job for me like. Nice simple system and ive still got loads a room in the boot.

looks like it, lol. beefy pimp-ass sound systems in cars do nothing for me at all, im more than content with the standard setup, if i want to listen to good quality music i listen to it on my pc, which has a gd setup. in a car i rekon its just pointless and a boot install wud be no good as im regualry carting a drum kit about. no1 wants to nick a standard renault head unit either, lol...

(and before we start the flamage.....ahem..........>>>IMO<<<)
