Picked this up off ebay for around £65 brand new, never been fitted before as the seller sold his car.

It's a raceland 4-1 to go on my K4J clio. Can't wait to fit it :)

  Astra GSI, 172, Golf
it should make some difference as the standard item is a log type mani iirc ?? so will flow a little better.

I'm hoping to dyno before and after. Probably won't make much difference if any. The system on now is totally standard. But for £65 I couldn't complain. It looks mint.

  Flame Red 172
How will that improve performance ? (i'm not being sarcy btw its a genuine question lol )

  Disastra Coupe
If my VTR was anything to go by then it won't make a great deal of performance difference at all. My Saxo was maybe a little more responsive but that's it.

However - sound difference. Now that was immense! I so miss the sound of my Saxo lol.

it will allow the exhaust gasses to flow more freely, more out means more in, meaning more bang!!

tbh, if it does no gains, it still looks the part!!

  Mk5 golf gti
Worth it for a better sound

looks cool too :) there will be a gain but a very small one

  Trophy #387
I looked at them for a pug 206 and they were hundreds of £... why so expensive compared to this?

What benefits does a new manifold bring as well.. noise + small power gain?

it does look the part, but i'm always cautious about these things. when you think a decent sport exhaust mani is probably 3 figures, it put it into perspective for me. I'd love to see the difference if it makes any though :D

Oh and what's with the hangers on it :S

  Not a 320d
How does me asking if they do them for a 1.2 mean I want a Max powerbody kit?! Just because its a 1.2.

Hes just trying to say its pointless, minimal gains etc. And even if you were to tune up a clio 1.2 the gains would still be minimal.

I think tuning any n/a car is pointless TBH!

From the shop these are 252 euro's http://www.raceland.com/products/ro-hclio_45/uitlaat-collector-inox-renault-clio-ii-1.4-en-1.6-16v
i just saw it at such a cheap price and its brand new so why not :)
I have found a garage that will fit it for me, need to get a rr figure. Should be fitted in the next couple of weeks unless anyone else can find me a garage that I can trust to do the fitting, or will actually do the fitting.
When going around garages asking if they will fit it, all I got was um... it's not something we're interested in. Found 2 possible garages, one quoted me £90 to fit it, the other I haven't be given a quote, but I've got to go back next week when he has finished building his current customers car (700bhp road legal civic) he also built my dad's old car (503bhp r33 gts/t) and done an epic job with the mechanical side of things.

I would do it my self if I didn't think I'd break something.

The difference it makes I think will be massively dependent on how restrictive the original one is.

Who cares if it has gains? Yeah it will be interesting but minimal at the same time. For £65 I wouldn't have even questioned buying it, its a bargain! Personally I would fit it and make your engine bay as shiny as possible :)!
