most do seem to kick-in at about 3500rpm, a straight through zorst and a decat will lessen it...

my old valver used to do it. just the way they are innit?

8valver the reason you get a kick is that all the valves open up at those revs me thinks, so you get a 'kick'

nope, and even if it was.....the valves would all open at the same time anyway.

coupled with other characterisitcs of the engines design, yes.

UNless its really bad and there is something wrong, there is an element of 'cammyness' on the stock engine.
