power lost! help

Hi i have a clio 172 (2002) i have fitted a janspeed system and sports cat but since this the car has seemed to lose power? has anyone else heard of this or no what it might be???? im looking for what the best indution kit is to?? Please help

Fitted badly (blowing)? An IK would probably make it worse!

i dont think its blowing as went through the mot yesterday?

Get it on the rollers. That why you should always do a before and after run. Preferably on the same day.

My only guess has been said above, Blowing/Misfitted. Other than that i felt a Healthy improvement with my decat.

do these mods not make the 5k kick less noticeable and thats maby making u think its lost power?

it mabe that im not sure. but like you say it is the kick thats missing. and around 100mph acceleration dies! would a service help as its due.

I wouldn't have thought so...May power curve is so much smoother now, Hardly any 5k kick! Power all the way through.

aslo after spinning the other day eveytime i turned the wheel there was a really bad knocking noise it has done this twice after spinning it and lasts for around 2 mins was abit worrying! any ideas?

:S Not sure about that one buddy? Engine mount perhaps. Or suspension top related?

thanks ali !!!!!!!! might get that looked into but other then spinning nothing else has ever made this noice that made me think it had noting to do with engine mount or suspension but you never know......... one of my m8s thought this might be the cat has shifted over and nocking on the body could not see it myself
