Power Steering

Car  Suzuki Ignis Sport
I had a drive of my mates Clio, 54 plate, and his steering feels lot lighter than mine.. and mine is a 51 plate..

Any way of making my Clio's steering lighter?

( i have been told pumping up my tyres would help, but i've done that the other week, still no better )

yours is a hydraulic system and his is electric? at a guess

Ooo.... got an answer finally!... ermm, im not sure, maybe, but if this is the case, how can i make my hydraulic system make my steering lighter?

you cant really, without getting in to messing about with rack ratios etc
or just go to the gym, lol

Its all going to be electric unles you've a very very rare one.

You can adjust them with the Renault computer turn the assist up there 4 level depending on the rack the thing is the heavier cars use the stronger 60Amp rack instead of the 45 which mkaes a difference.

what level is it set on standard, wouldn't mind mine being a bit heavier!
