Powerchip? do i get it, is it worth it? Techies help!

ive just been to my local powerchip place enquring about a remap

ive been quoted 275 fitted and he claims that 2.0l 16v's usually see around 12bhp increases and a good increase in torque as well, he has a rolling road there so i can see the gains for myself if i want.

my question is: will it be worth getting? i currently have a matched manifold, maxogen, yozzasport decat and prospeed exhaust

how do these differ fromn the remaps offered by the likes of rstuning (pmurrey)
ie. better/worse pros and cons?

think of it like this

you're in Tesco, you have the option to buy Tesco value coke, or you can buy real cocacola coke, the real stuff costs more, but is so worth it

the place is called collins performance, they do their own chips to suit the cars, they new what they were on about and basically offered the same as pmurrey thats all!
