Powerflow Exhausts

  Nippy white cup

I would say that generally Magnex have a better reputation but Ive never had any problems with my Powerflow and I know that some people have had trouble with Magnex.

Chris

P>S> You can hear mine on Thursday m8. I think it sounds good but each to their own.

From what Ive read on here it seems to have a lot to do with who fitted them as to how happy people have been with them.

Its been discussed quite a bit on here lately so its probably worth a search.

And for comparison you can hear mine too.

*note to self* CD for Chris.

Ive never had problems either - very good job.

Depends on where/who/when you take it, it seems.

That would be good mate. I can see me coming back from Curborough with sooooooooooooo many plans ! LOL ! My bank balance is crying already !

:devilish:

I have been speaking to Floodie and Powerflow can make a custom exhaust which is just a little deeper than standard, which I want, and it can also be incorporated into the back bumper, which I also want.

How loud is yours for everyday driving ?

Who would you recommend to fit it if I go for a Powerflow ?

I get mine done locally at Top Gear (Burnley) but some other places have a rep for doing bad work. Mine is loud but I have got used to it. Might not be as bad on 172s as it has more sound deadning. Cant really describe the noise but Im pleased with it.

I will see and hear for myself on Thursday. It is something that I have to get done soon tho I think ! Been thinking about it for ages now and I need to bite the bullet and do it like I did with the suspension.

Looking forward to Curborough now ! Be good to put a lot of faces to the names !

Cheers Neil ! Just listened to it and I gotta say that sounds WELL ! POWER SLIDING LIKE A MUTHA FCUKA ! LOL !

:D

Very impressive bit of driving there mate ! Where was that filmed ?

I like the comment from somebody at the end "So hes run it in then ?" LMFAO !

PS Somebody needs Steadyvision for their camcorder !

no way... not powerflow.... its a custom pro speed one....

email me if you need the guys number, I know him very well and will forward any enquiries straight to him...

the gauge of the pipe is about 2 x that of the powerflow ones... they also no not make the silencers on site... they only have a few sizes so you cant match them to the customer or car...

Andy, that sounds expensive ? Is it ? What tailpipes do they have ?

If it isnt then definitely PM me the number if you can mate.

Anybody else with a Powerflow ?

not expensive.... all depends how complicated you want to make the system...

£300 ish should see a full system

all sorts of tail pipes... round, oval, hidden... whatever you want...

Cheers Andy, I will check it out. I have just realised that they are based in CARDIFF ! Just down the M4 for me as I am in Swansea !

Is there any chance of some pics of the tailpipe ? Also, do you have any clips so I can hear the sound of the exhaust ?

Would you say it was better than a Powerflow ?

Thanks again.

Dai
