I've veiwed a few threads about this, i was just wondering if i could take a rack and all other ancilleries needed off a mk1 with pas and fit it to my mk2 ph1.

i was told by one person (when i had my first RT) that it would cost a fortune to do, then i spoke to someone else and they were under the impression that its an easy enough DIY job, so i wondered this myself

You need the PAS pump putting on the car the brackets are most likly there but you'll need to get a new AUX belt. Its not worth it IMO.

snap. my dad thinks that it would be pretty straight forward once all the parts are got (which is why im asking if a mk1 rack and ancilleries will fit)
