My fuel light came on this morning, but the gauge said I still had a ¼ tank left. The trip computer said ~45 miles left - but last night I'm 99% sure it was still about 150 left.
Anyway, I filled up just to be sure - and I could only ram another 28 litres in there. Which to me, correlates with the ¼tank reading. I've only done about 250 miles since I filled up on Tuesday, so quarter of a tank left is about right.
The tank is full now, and gauge is full and trip computer says 450+. What could have caused the erroneous fuel light?
