Premature Lights??

My lights come on around 5 o'clock today its was still fairly light it usually takes it to be more dark, does anyone else have this problem? if they stay on what problems could it be?

Was your windscreen clean? If its slightly opaque over the sensor on a cloudy/close to dusk day they will come on prematurley.

i finish work at 5.30 and as soon as i turn my car on, the lights are on.

With all the sun today mine kept coming on if i went through patches of trees so your's coming on around that time isnt really anything to worry about. Dont forget its getting darker earlier in the day now.
