Pressure Testing

I've got a Leak in my Coolant System somewhere but I can't find where and a Mechanic friend has offered to Pressure Test it which is all good BUT is there any adverse effects from doing this?

Suchas as causing the leak to increase etc.?

shouldnt be if done correctly - it is leaking after all so should show up pretty quick

it will be fine as long as he doesnt over pressurise the system, should be presserised up to what it would be at normal operating temp, that will show the leak

Yeah... He's a renault Mechanic and has just bought a 182 himself so knows his way around... Was going to do it Tonight BUT Snow stops play.. He's doing my Cambelt on Saturday so will have a look then i guess.
