When I bought my 172 the bloke I bought it from was a 68 year old grandad.His wife was making him sell it coz she said they were getting to old.Anyone else got any bizarre ownership stories?

I didn't know Mr. 63 used to have a 106 GTi.

followed an old dude today down the bypass, must of been 80 ish in an awful vauxhall aglia 1.2 but bloody hell he was tramming on he was overtaking anything and everything that got in his way! i didnt even feel inclined to pass him which is unusual!

Very old guy near me got a Mallard Green Escort Cosworth, and an old Ferrari, both on private plates, never seen him drive either more than 30 mph.... He has had that cossie since new as well, probably make a great buy in the future!!

Two little grey haired ladies near my house both travel everywhere in a Clio 182. both must be in thier 70's. Im sure there are two old ladies like this in every town/city on the planet but normally they would drive something like a micra or a rover 100.
