I know manufacturer's rrp is £17,250 but what have people been paying at dealers or does anyone know someone that has ordered one and what sort of price they have been paying - thanks!!
I cant really afford one but saw one at dealers today and loved it:approve: . Maybe with some hard saving and a good deal I might see what i can muster up!!

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge clio fan, not selling mine for a while, but then I did'nt spend £17k on mine, and for £17k I would be wanting more than a clio, but I get the point re some people might.....but 17K buys you ALOT of car, and that clio will be worth 12k in 6 months.

That's what I don't get. It's always happening on here.

If you want a Clio you buy a Clio. You don't buy a larger car with higher running costs just because it looks like a good deal.

Surely it you want a Megane you don't buy a Laguna because they've got a good deal going?

I love the Megane but still wouldn't buy one over an R27 because I don't want a bigger car. Plus the Clio is stupidly fun when trashed, the Megane is a little mature for my tastes.

As you say though, the Clio is a lot of money, especially compared to the previous range. I'd be looking at similar cars to the Clio instead though, rather than something totally different.

I'd be very surprised if you can find a brand new (not pre reg) R26 Megane for £15,999 now. I heard a rumour that the fleet manager of a certain dealership, doing the deal for cheap Meganes/other Renault vehicles with buymynewcar got into big s**t with Renault UK.

By all accounts buymynewcar have done a disappearing act (people have been saying they're either on holiday or that they are in receivership).

As for the R27 Clio, I'd hold fire until the Cup version comes out.

Another giveaway about BMNC is that they were "trade partners" with meganesport.net, had a few advertisements running on there, as well as their own section on the forum. All mention of them has now been removed.
