i was told ages ago that you can use vaseline on your tyres to get the showroom shine ? any thoughts?
 
Yes, you can put it on your tyres.

But that doesn't mean it will a; look good or b; be a good idea.

I could put it on my steering wheel - it would make it more shiney, but it isn't a good idea.

Try polishing your car with peanut butter, I heard that works well, just takes a lot of work to break down the chunks of nut.

It won't perish it, but it will be a pain to remove. Don't. Just don't.

Paint work, no. Plastic trim with polish/wax stains, yes! It will remove it.

I simply have megs endurance to smell. I'm sure it's still full and I bought it last year.
